Social Connections Not Working

The social connections via the profile do not work. I was curious the connection between FaceBook and Twitter. Clicking the link (http://eggheadforum.com/profile/connections) generate an error of either

Webpage not found (FaceBook)

or

{"errors":[{"code":215,"message":"Bad Authentication data."}]} (Twitter)

I did a search on the forum to see if there was a discussion about these not working, but did not find anything. Have these ever worked or plans to have them working again? What type of connections did they allow?

I've never seen anyone here use this stuff.  Looks like HQ thought about setting this up at some point, but never got the hooks in place they'd need in the Vanilla software.  

I vacillate between thinking that the person in charge of this website should be fired or promoted.

Ok. Thanks for the updates. I was not sure if it had ever worked, broke, or what the status. Curious what of the status. Sounds like a cool concept and maybe generate more traffic here from social media sites.
