off-road BGE

So the directions for the nest say not for uneven surfaces or soft dirt or something to that effect.
So here is a picture of the nest with handler (no egg) next to my storage base with 10" no flat casters

Here is the nest installed in my custom made base (note size of stock caster lying on the ground) SORRY FOR THE BLURRY PICTURE, TOO MUCH COFFEE

And final assembly of BGE complete and out on soft dirt and uneven terrain.

I know it looks tall, but I actually like the height of the grill surface.

the base is 2'x2', 5/16 thick Aluminum plate, with 1/8 thick aluminum sheet walls that are 6" high.  Casters are rated for 300 lbs each, so they are not over-loaded.  Base & casters probably weigh 40 lbs.
Large BGE in a Sole' Gourmet Table
Using the Black Cast Iron grill, Plate Setter,
and a BBQ Guru temp controller.

Medium BGE in custom modified off-road nest.
Black Cast Iron grill, Plate Setter, and a Party-Q temp controller.

Depends upon the dog I guess, and what your intentions are.  A chiuahua, no problem, An Alaskan Malamute might try to take it to the Iditarod.
