I paid 65 fer my 1st one....I went ahead and bought another one at this price. I'll use it as a CHRISTmas gift or something. Years ago they screwed up the price on a reel and folks went crazy buying 10 or so, I just bought 1. Those who bought multiples got a letter from Amazon saying they screwed up and would only recognize one at the cheap price...
Seems like this may happen here too.

Ordered one plus some extra belts. I will now have 4 different knife sharpeners. I have a problem....
FYI - don't buy the leather stropping belt. It will burn out the motor and void your warranty.

The reviews don't really help when trying to not spend the money. . .
I have dull knives. I don't even know what brand they are, but they all came in a knife block together so I know they are good ones.
I have been putting off spending money on this aspect of cooking as i hack away at stuff with my dull knives. This seems like an excellent opportunity to learn to sharpen knives. Before online shopping, it was easier to to save money. You actually had to be walking by something in a store to even realize you might want it or to see that it was on sale.
Knives. . . my next frontier. . .trying to resist. . . wife wants more furniture. . . ahhhhhh.

It is not just the USD to CAD, but the cost to get it shipped there. My understanding is that shipping into Canada is really expensive (Customs, Duties, etc).Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
