QUESTION - BEEF SHORT RIBS

Doing a few cooks this weekend.  Today I have beef short ribs, usually I get a block of 4 ribs all together and cook for 6-8 hours.  My brother-in-law gave me 4 ribs already cut into strips(4 pieces compared to 1 block). QUESTION will these cook much faster since they are 4 pieces and have more surface area compared to my usual block of beef.  Thanks for any feedback. I am worried I need to start them soon...

They will cook faster for sure.  How much faster I don't know, but someone here probably knows and can chime in.

When I've cooked singles they've taken around 4 1/2 hours.  That includes a 2 hour braise/steam in foil after the first 2 hours of smoking.  This is at 250.

Indirect 250. Cook for 4.5, sauce, if desired, and cook for another 30 minutes. 
Hard to screw it up!
