Nice!  Much happier than I expected.  Personally, I call SWMBO whenever I head home unexpectedly.  I don't want any surprises.

I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

Looks wonderful. Glad your German Queens are doing well. Ours are producing squat. Granted we planted late, but in the south, we really have two growing seasons for tomatoes, so still holding out hope.

i put my raised beds on a seep spring, no watering =) stripeys, queens, cherokee purple, san marzannos, all slow growers. plants are 9 to 12 foot high and full, never seen it like this before. nights are in the mid forties though so im in a race to get red maters. probably needed to plant some faster growers but they lack flavor for me.

That looks great! Haven't tried ALDI sourdough yet. I like their brioche buns and their multi grain low sodium bread though, so I'll try the sourdough.

Never did find those German dills that you (or maybe it was Brandon) mentioned.

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Ok, so I bought a loaf of the ALDI sourdough. Picked up a tomato from the farmers market down the street, added some mozz slices and buttered the bread. Then onto a carbon steel pan on the stove. Used a cheese melting dome (actually just an inverted stainless bowl) so the cheese would melt by the time the bread was toasted.

I'm not too experienced with sourdough, but this makes an OUTSTANDING grilled cheese sandwich! Texture was perfect; crispy, but tender. Wonder if it would make a good pizza? Bet it would be better than those English muffin pizzas my kids used to make.

Anyway, thanks for the tip about the bread!
