Where to buy brisket in Munich, Germany

 Alright, tough question, but I'm always surprised on this forum.   I'm staying a friend in Munich soon.  When he stayed at my place in Austin, I cooked a prime brisket and it made a good impression.  Does anyone on this vast forum know if I can get a #120 packer in Munich? I hear they are hard enough to find outside Texas, so Munich will be tough.  There is an egg dealer there, so maybe there are forum members.

Look for a "rinderbrust".  It may not have the whole point on it but it's close enough.

I don't know where you can get brisket sadly but if you're looking for Italian and for Italian to be served by a very generous guy go to Vapiano on Arnulfstraß. They looked after my wife and I and about 15 people after the shooting last year, with free food grapa and great hospitality.

I've been to vinotec and vinoila a few times, great  Italian food in Munich.

Funny. The wife and I have spent a lot of time in Europe. After so many days in France, Scandanavia, Germany or the Eastern bloc I need some Italian to cleanse with. Never need anything else when in Spain or Greece.

I lived in Heidelberg for 7 years.  Not that it qualifies me to know anything about German boucherie, but I'm a very good researcher.

Maybe there's and HEB in Munich.  They always have lots of briskets available.
