Beef Ribs with Grilled Okra

bgebrentbgebrent Posts: 16,498
Beef ribs from my BIL's CAB he gave us.  They came individually cut.  BBQ1 brisket rub egged with some white oak charcoal @northGAcock gave me.  Grilled the okra hot and fast and N made a dipping sauce from a recipe we saw in Fine Cooking.  A good Sunday at the lake.

Lots of okra this summer but it never once occurred to me to try to grill it. Thanks for the idea. Ribs and corn look great too!

Slice it down the middle with a sharp knife to about 1/2" of the top.  Grill hot for about 5 minutes turning once.  Remoulade is a good accompaniment.

I can't imagine a bad day at the lake. That said, fine food like this, family, and friends does elevate the goodness. Life is good for you my friend.
