OT - some of this stuff is crazy

I know I am very new to this forum, but I thought it was just for egg related stuff and simply learning from each other about awesome cooking on the egg. Some of these discussions and posts are crazy. I just want to always be perfecting my egg skills and make great food for my family. Also, I live in Missouri. Are there any cool egg fest near me?

It gets crazy from time to time. If you only want to learn about egging I would say to click on only the egging threads. Some of the crazy ones are hard to turn away from though. We are glad to have you but we do lose people that don't like all the BS that comes along with the best egg related forum on the planet. I have laughed way more than any other place I visit on here. Some if it's not funny (to me anyway) but I've learned to steer away from those. No way I would walk away from all the good I get from here and all the fun I have on here because a few wayward threads.

Reading every thread on the forum is not mandatory. And it is easy to avoid the more "intense" ones.

I'm right there with you.  These folks are crazy.  

I'll take up for the group though.  Don't cast too much judgement on them/us, because you should venture out and meet some of these folks.  I've met some of the finest people I know on this very forum.  

Now, that doesn't mean a lot, I have no friends in real life, so the competition is very low .
