13 is fine, was just looking thru a 12 and i would not look for long with the 12. its a true glass style lens?, not a coated lens, the coated style is no good if its worn or scratched in anyway. automatic lens should be ok if its set to 13nolaegghead said:I had two friends come buy to borrow welding shields. I have 3 auto-darkening shields. One is stuck dark, I don't know what that one is, the other vary from like 9-13. I also have a fixed, plastic. Don't know what that one is, I can't find it.fishlessman said:

the ones that autoshade to 13 are fine, could even wear sunglasses using it if it bothers you. throw the plastic one away if you find it, those are no good in any non clean room environment, the tiniest scratch in it will make your eyes bleed fukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it
