Simple Steak cook on the LBGE

Did a simple steak cook tonight. Picked up a couple of Ribeyes, rubbed them down with Olive Oil and Southern Links Steak and Brisket Rub (one my my favorite rubs), then off to the LBGE they went. Served up with a salad and baked potato. Not bad for a Monday dinner, simple, quick and delicious.

Exactly. We never do when you can cook steaks like that. We are going to @SBGonzo place for steaks.

I like practically everything I see on this forum, but somehow I always especially love a nice rare to medium rare piece of beef.  Looks great!

Ever since I got the BGE I've never(ok maybe once in a blue moon) gone out or ordered out for steak and pizza again

Nailed that cook right there.  
I follow a simple rule, "Never order in a restaurant that which you can cook at home."  Definitely expands the choices.  I did make an exception when pounding brisket in Austin last year-and worth it!

Simple but looking good. My favorite right there. I have found that in the last year, since I got my egg, that I have lost interest in eating out. Hard to find things on the menu that I can't do as well or better. I do enjoy going to new places and checking out the menu to inspire me to try new things.

Thanks, the CI grate that I use on the spider (in the photo) also will fit on the Mini Max.....it's 13 inches.
