What is this cut of bacon is this

Picked up this beef bacon at a local butcher shop. Its really good, but what cut is it? Short rib, or a point? Its about 4-5" long

    Looking at your pic, it's cut from the beef navel.

    Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

    Status- Standing by.

    "Beef navel" for all practical purposes is simply belly meat.

    Interesting thanks, i think i will try a few abts later with this. Fried some up with eggs and it really is delicious. I recommend trying it if anyone sees it
