OT: Metaphors for the Meal

I've been meaning to share this for some time here, but hesitated for a variety of reasons. This is a book by a friend of mine, Milton Brasher-Cunningham:

https://www.amazon.com/Keeping-Feast-Metaphors-Milton-Brasher-Cunningham/dp/0819227897

The title is "Keeping the Feast: Metaphors for the Meal".  It's been out for awhile, and it's an easy read.  Milton is one of the best people walking the Earth.  He's one heck of a cook, and a very talented writer as well.  He blogs over at donteatalone.com

I won't go into the book more, but the description over at Amazon will give you the gist.  Thought some of you might be interested.
