OT: Metaphors for the Meal

I've been meaning to share this for some time here, but hesitated for a variety of reasons. This is a book by a friend of mine, Milton Brasher-Cunningham:

The title is "Keeping the Feast: Metaphors for the Meal".  It's been out for awhile, and it's an easy read.  Milton is one of the best people walking the Earth.  He's one heck of a cook, and a very talented writer as well.  He blogs over at donteatalone.com

To be clear, I did not intend in any way for this to be a Friday thread.  I just saw something related to Milton just now and it reminded me that I meant to post about his book.

I'm not trying to stir things up in the least.   There is a spiritual aspect to this which I went out of my way not to mention in the OP.
