Did a couple Peter Luger inspired NY Strips in a cast iron pan on the egg.
Seared, sliced, reassembled upside down in the pan and finished with butter
Kept the pan drippings and to make a peppercorn cream sauce.
Served with roasted red potatoes.

Sure. Kept the pan drippings and added a little butter. Deglazed the pan with beef stock and reduced before adding crushed black peppercorns, heavy cream and cognac.jdkeithbge said:Looks killer.
