Not so special pork chops, turned special....

Options
Just a standard pork chop from the grocery store.  It was a variety pack and my wife loves them that way (and my little girl).  Nothing fancy.

I churched them up a tad, seasoning and sauce wise.

Seasoning (I think I used about a teaspoon (heavy) for each:

Salt
Pepper
Season salt
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Woodford Reserve smoked pepper and lemon zest
White sugar

Seasoned liberally, and let rest for an hour or two.

Made a blueberry sauce to go along with it.

Ingredients:

1 cup of blueberries
Apple cider vinegar (maybe 1/2 cup)
Zest and juice of 1 lemon
Zest and juice of 1/2 orange
Dash of cinnamon
Dash of garlic powder
Dash of onion powder
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flake
1/2-3/4 cup white sugar
Dash of worsheshire sauce
salt
pepper
Season salt

Measurements isn't my thing, many are guesstimates.  I tasted until I thought it was right.

Pictures below

1 - Egg coming up to temp.  Went raised direct about 400°.  Eventually went direct un-raised.

2 - Close up of what's happening.

3 - A few that were done. Layed some butter and flat leaf parsley down on the baking sheet for the chops to lay in once done.

4  - With the blueberry sauce

Thanks for taking a look!
