Salmorejo, Wings, Tinto Verano

Tried two recipes we learned in Spain (plus randomly some wings). Total fail. Due to what I think was a translation error, the samorejo was way over salted. Strangely, the wings were in inedibly salty too....all I can think of is that the bottle of Frank's I used was old and maybe the salt had settled to the bottom??

The tinto verano was good, so we're just drinking at the moment.
