According to this article, as of June 26, Photobucket will no longer allow hot-linking to your pics on their website for free.  They will allow it, for the bargain price of $399.00/year!
 
I had been paying them "advertisement-free", around $100/year.  My photos still show on this forum, and others; don't know if this until my $100/year runs out, or they just haven't gotten around yet to implementation.  
 
I realize no one has the right to complain about a formerly-free service, but I also know some folks entire on-line picture sharing (mine, for instance) is built into Photobucket and this high cost almost feels like blackmail of sorts.  Wow.
