Summer Sundays: Italian

We have a group that comes over every Sunday to have dinner.
We kicked off off the summer tonight with a light"ish" Italian dish.
We kicked off off the summer tonight with a light"ish" Italian dish.
Italian dressing marinaded chicken breasts cooked indirect to 160 then seared, fire roasted olive oil and sea salt tomatoes, on a bed of lemon-butter white wine noodles with capers, red pepper flakes, garlic, lemon zest, Parmesan cheese, olives, and parsley.
Served with garlic bread. And Kendall Jackson Chardonnay. Normally I would shun a Chard in my glass but it's hot and pairs with the meal.

I didn't get the decorator gene. I'm basically function over form in most things. Can't compete with the presentations on this forum so I just cook and eat (and drink) and lurk.Near Music City in the Boro

That's a nice plate of food.Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"
