Can't wait, hate I missed last year.

I keep getting complaints from new Eggheads (or inactive ones) about having a separate exchange.  Call it paying your dues, but I started requiring the minimum post count because a few members have gotten burned form new people before I put this into place.  First and foremost, my goal is to protect our veteran members and the integrity of the exchange.

In past exchanges I have paired new members with new members in order to make exceptions for peeps who didn't qualify.  Making a separate exchange minimizes the back-end work that I have to do.  Please be thankful and let it go.  Participate in the noob exchange this year and enter the main exchange next year.

Speaking of work...is there a veteran member who would like to assist me?  You won't get paid with anything other than Thank Yous.
Im not very computer literate but if I can help I would be willing to try.

I think it would be cool to include shirt sizes to throw  a local t-shirt in the mix. Just a thought..

I think that's an option on the Elfster site actually, to list shirt size.

@cazzy what can I do to help?  I would be 100% on board to help but the Mrs and I are headed to Iceland on the 18th and back on the 23rd so I may not be as able but anything I can do to help I'm in for.

    Below 250 posts- Noob exchange

    Above 250 posts- Regular exchange.

Absolutely no further questions or discussions on that particular topic should be required.

Thanks, Cazzy!   Don't let the confusion/comments get you down.
It's a great event in any capacity.

I keep thinking of organizing a hot sauce exchange 6 months after this one, but then I read all these threads and think, naaaahhhhhh.  =)

Lol I'm not getting down about it.  It is what it is really.  If you have under 250 and have never participated, you're in the noob exchange.  I'm just chilling watching some youth baseball.   :)

I see a couple of folks in the NOOB don't understand you need to have your profile name as the nick name.  Please read the instructions Cazzy posted on how to add your Egghead Forum profile name.

I'm seeing several peeps without their handle, or with a handle that doesn't come up.  Please add your handle ASAP.

Not sure who papa jay is either.  I know you participated last year, but I recall not finding your handle then either.  Lol

You're in.  Make sure you're clicking on the right link.

You got an email because you have FL as your handle and not Richard FL.  I know...not hard to figure out but it threw me the first time you joined.

Just go to elfster and log in.  You're signed up for sure. Email looks correct too.

This question was asked last year, but I forget the answer...

If we're going to be away during the middle two week's of the exchange, is there a way to pass a message to our elfster pair so that they either; rush, don't rush, or let us know when shipped so a neighbor can grab the package?

I know that could take the fun out of it for someone, but I'd hate to have someone's hard work sitting in the sun and the rain if I didn't know it was there.  If this will cause too much confusion for someone, I'm fine bowing out this year prior to the draw, but otherwise...  bring it!  :D

If you're traveling and need them to delay shipping to you, put that in your Wish List.  You can also let me know and I will inform them when is good for you

If your shipment is going to be delayed, message that to your draw.
