Every other discriminitive category has been covered by this small group.  Race is the only one that hasn't.  With the way this small group behaves, and its trend, it may eventually happen.  I hope it doesn't, but if everything else possible is fair game?

It's very noble of you to tilt at the windmills, Don Focker, to protect the protected classes.  Even Minority Report for discrimination - "it may eventually happen"  Really?!

Aside from the politically-driven rantings that have died down significantly, have you really seen the hate you say you have?  I've never felt hate in any systemic or organized way way here and I'm in at least one of the groups that gets some negative stereotyping. But, I'm openminded enough to realize stereotypes themselves are not wrong or bad, it's how they're used.  Look at any group that makes fun of itself - they lean on stereotypes.  I'm sure you have some great nurse or healthcare jokes...rooted in a sample of reality. 

No, hate doesn't exist here from what I can see.  Anger from time to time when someone shows their a$$ a bit but that's people, not organized hate against a group.

Jokes are not hate in any context I've seen here.  Jokes are handed out around here pretty fairly from what I've seen, or at least in proportion to what I suspect is the demographics of the forum membership that is at least minimally active.

I absolutely, categorically refuse to believe this 'group' that you refer to has any agenda beyond sharing a good time.  I think I've only met maybe four people on the forum in person and only one time each - ranging from maybe 10 words to chatting for an hour or two in one case.  At most, maybe two are loosely part of this group you rail against.  I would gladly break bread with any I have met or have yet to meet.  Or introduce my family to them, or reach out and ask them for help if I was in their area and needed it, or help them if they needed it.

I'm sorry you got your feelings hurt somewhere along the way.   It's just really getting tired when you're feigning righteousness to paint others with some pretty foul accusations.  So yeah, please give it a rest unless you're just too proud to do so.

Proud of how I was raised by a great Midwestern family...to work hard starting as a cashier, embracing differences in all cultures, ethnicity, religion, sexuality, occupation, marital status, and disability.

This is all elementary level playground common sense stuff.  Don't sh!t yourself @Legume.....but this is hate, it is bullying.

If this is such a joke, to attack ones marital status, occupation, religion, and now sexuality, then why aren't I laughing too?  And I promise you, I'm not the only one, not laughing.  

Most in healthcare(I say most because one of the members here is in healthcare, and has judged marital status), treat everyone, of all cultures, and backgrounds, equally.  In 7 years, NOBODY I have been around, has mocked or joked about anyone, due to their religious beliefs, sexuality, marital status, socioeconomic status.  If they did, I would treat it the same as I have here.  We actually embrace diversity, on both sides of the bed.  If there is bullying, it is the older nurses eating the young. They too, quiet down quickly when called to the carpet........shocking, isn't it? 

Again elementary, but as one example, it's one thing for an agnostic to poke fun, "joke", mock a fellow agnostic...but the fun game changes when the agnostic mocks a Muslim.  We do not discriminate, and roast each other at our dinner table breaking bread.    

I guess you're kind of right, I am hurt...saddened may be more accurate.  
If this is group fun, group fun you long to be a part of, I truly feel sorry.
I'm not feigning righteousness.  It's 2017 my friend, and this hate hasn't dissipated.  The few rotten apples won't spoil this for me, I'm not going anywhere.  My priorities are to help, and be inspired to cook, not discriminate others.  I have met many, beautiful, salt-of-the-earth peeps here.  To be completely honest, you won't see me registering for Butt Blast in the near future, but knock yourself out and have fun laughing at other's expense.    

I may be a former Lowe's cashier, and divorced, but my son will respect everyone from all walks of life.
