Fajitas

Great day here in the PNW.  Got some new lawn games so spent the day playing bean bag toss, ladder ball, and lawn darts with my son.  It was warm enough that we even broke out the water balloons.  Finished off with flank steak fajitas.  Steak was marinated over night in a fajita marinade, and veggies cooked in the wok on the egg.  Then grilled the steak hot and fast.  Good end to a good day.

  • 1) lawn darts. And water balloons? You sir have won Dad of the Week.

    2) My wife has been on a beef kick all month. I have been struggling for menu items and have neglected flat iron fajitas. Added to the menu. Great cook as always.

Fajitas with flat iron steak, marinated, no less. Does your son have any idea what the world is like away from utopia? Water balloons. How cool is that?
Beautiful way to spend the day. Very envious here.

I'd make a pig of myself.  Simple, great food.

Don't to think I spoil him...the fun and games was after he spent a couple hours helping with the yard work.   =)  Well, I try not to spoil him too much anyway.
