    My animals, no, my food I spray with apple juice.

    alrhough I get the feeling the animals wouldn't mind 

    On a serious note, I spray mine for fun, and a good excuse to open up and smell the cook. I don't think it makes a huge difference

    I sprayed my dog down with apple cider vinegar when he got sprayed with a skunk last summer. 

    I only spray butts when I'm cooking on my metal cooker. I Keep the lid closed on the Egg.

    I use 50/50 mix apple juice and apple cider vinegar sprayed on beef back ribs.

    I always use the same 50/50 mixture for my spray ... apple cider vinegar and light beer.  I've never once regretted it.

    I inject pork butts with 50/50 apple juice and cider vinegar prior to cooking. Don't spray at all.

    On the hottest of days, I'm talking HOT - what do you drink you refresh yourself .. Apple Juice? ... Nope, water.

    Same thing (IMO), If I'm gonna spritz, it's water. It hydrates the protein immediately.
