OT Mexican eating done right!!

Flew into Cabo on Saturday and headed north to Los Barriles. Left Montana at 6 am was in Cabo by 2 pm and after getting stuck behind some sort of horse endurance race in a line of traffic about 3 miles long rolled into LB about 6:30. It's just me and my two daughters, so after we dropped our bags at the Cassa we headed to the little bar in town . Couple Coronas and an order of Butt Stingers life is good again 

Up at 5 to cook breakfast for the girls. Need to meet our boat at 6:30. This and some eggs. Don't know what it is. Some cut of pork marinated but we get it every year and love it.

Fishing was fantastic and we nailed a few yellow fin tuna and and amber jack to fill the cooler for the trip home next week!! My youngest with her tuna 

Since there was a bottle of soy sauce on the boat fresh Sashimi was in order!! If you haven't eaten fresh caught tuna out of a cut open water bottle with la choy soy sauce poured on it then you haven't lived !! Lol

Here was the view from dinner after fishing

We had 6 drinks chicken enchiladas chicken fajitas and a steak quesadilla and made table side quac in a big stone bowl. Bill was 1050 pesos ( $64 us) phone died after taking the view picture but I promise more food and fishing pictures to follow this week.

@lkapigian we have been coming here for a few years now. Fishing seems to be much better later in the summer but the weather is brutally hot!! April and May have the best temps but the fishing is slower. Yesterday was the first day in 4 years we didn't hook a Marlin !! But the tuna made up for that.

Just walk the Tuna by the BBQ, introduce it and walk by--Slice and eat raw

Hopefully, I'll hook up some tuna tomorrow, If the wind lays down. Port here in Cabo was shut down today due to the wind.
Gonna try for some grouper and snapper first thing, then go for tuna and wahoo.

@pescadorzih we fished out of San Jose one day last summer caught snapper and two white Bonita . What's nice about the East Cape is the fishing is much closer to shore the tuna we caught yesterday were only a 1/4 mile of shore. 

@lkapigian that's a great looking Marlin they are so fun to catch and are exhausting!!!

@pescadorzih I am sitting on the patio drinking coffee right now and the wind is hardly blowing here. Palms are barely moving. If you can't get out there and want to come up here for the day and split a boat I am game. Takes about an hour and 10 minutes from the La Comer in San Jose. Made the trip every day last year as I got stung by a stingray the first day and had to go to the Dr. Office near there for an antibiotic shot!!! Lol

Goof off day today. Had breakfast, took a nap, hung out with the girls on the beach and rolled into town for a mid afternoon snack.

Ok pardon any autocorrects a few shots of tequila and more then a few coronas!! Just hit all the hot dog carts in town. At least three I beleive. Don't know what all is in and on them probably don't want o know . Bacon wrapped and cooked on. Flat top with little peppers. Holy Moly the are damn good!!! Wish I had my blackstone down here I would give them a run for their money!! The first one I didn't get a picture of but also had

That all looks fantastic. The only thing I can add for anyone visiting Cabo is to check out Gordo Lele's for tacos. Don't be scared away by first impressions, it's fantastic. He may even sing for you!

Ok no more drunken updates!! But here is some more street cart food. This burger was the bomb!!!! Flat top cooked with lettuce tomato assorted other goodness and avacado. 50 pesos ( that's about $2.50 right now)
