New MiniMax and Table

We bought a Big Green Egg (the MiniMax) a couple of weeks ago. I saw a table in this forum built by Greeno55, and convinced my husband to build something similar. (I would have liked to enclose the table and add a shelf and door, but decided to make it a bit more simple). We used the Kreg Jig for pocket hole joinery to make it good and sturdy. I love cooking on it, and the flavor is superb. So far I have done chipotle chicken thighs several times, and lots of veggies. We don’t have a pizza stone yet, but can’t wait to use the Egg for pizzas. I think a meatloaf would turn out great, too. And, of course, we will use it for smoking this summer. I might never cook in the kitchen again!

I also have a new MiniMax. Still in the box.as I bought it then left a few days later on a cruise. Got to put it together this week and get coking on it. I like you table. Still haven't figured out where to sit my MM.

Thank you for all the nice comments! I joined this forum a couple weeks ago and have already learned so much searching through the posts. I am looking forward to lots of grilling/smoking/baking this summer.

Welcome to the asylum. It only gets crazier from this point forward. I really like the table you all have built.
You will love the MM. We take ours everywhere; tailgating, friends parties, and camping, as it is as fun as it is a great cooker.
