    Just blindly following procedure-no one wants to take responsibility and make a decision anymore.  Like the United Airlines deal.  I'm sure the HMFIC (Head Mother - In Charge) followed the script there as well.
    I understand the zero tolerance mentality and definitely don't endorse it.  But I get it when the leadership fails to recognize that doing the right thing outweighs following the book.  That will cost the subordinate their job.

    ...and they have no idea how it was stored.  I'm not surprised they didn't take it back after date, at least they're not expensive at Costco.
