Charleston has some amazing restaurants, but we now have a brisket joint in the land of pork. If you ever find yourself in Charleston and want something other than seafood, you might want to try Lewis BBQ. I just wish my brisket tasted that good.

Have had plenty of good eats in Charleston, but never brisket. That place looks great.

Last time one I was there, I went to a hell of a bar that had a wall of alcoholized pre-mixed slushies, each rotating in their own wall-mounted machine. Don't remember the name. A place that would give @YukonRon some serious competition in the slushed booze department.

That whole tray looks pretty dang good, aside from the obligatory wonderbread.

That's John Lewis from Lee Ann Mueller bbq fame.  I'd expect that to be excellent from what I've had at LA bbq.  That's Texas bbq royalty there. Looks fantastic.

  • Wet Willies burned down. That's the place with frozen booze drinks rotating on the walls.

My slushies are free, and so is the brisket. Y'all come to Louisville.

@blasting I will never understand the funky white bread always served with BBQ. Corn bread, corn cakes, I would even take a tortilla.

Looks good, but if I'm going to Charleston I will die of seafood poisoning before eating BBQ. My landlocked state is killing me.

Craig @Dyal_SC ate down there on one of his recent bitness trips. He had me drooling. Now you have gone and done it. Looks like a special trip in in the near plans.

That place would be Wet Willies. I would avoid this place at all cost.....lest you want to get arrested trying to walk down the cobblestone street. Be for warned.
