Not sure. There was a post on here within the last few weeks with someone going "Caveman" with lobster tails. Search lobster tails if nobody helps you out.
Best of luck and enjoy.

Here's one I use with great results: (obviously scale to your banquet):
Raised grid-direct around 350*F-
4-6 lobster tails
Combine the following:
¼ cup EVOO
¼ cup fresh lemon juice
Salt to taste (light amount)
Fresh ground black pepper to taste.
Split tails length-wise. Brush mixture onto the flesh side of the tails. Put lobster on grill, flesh side down for around 5 mins (good grill marks), flip to shell side down to finish (1-2 mins) Remove when lobster is opaque and shell is orange.

Don't know if you did this or not yet.
I did some a few weeks ago. Reverse seared the ribeyes and then did the lobsters 7 min, flip for 3 at 400. Then tossed them for about 2 minutes caveman style.

Bobby Flay par-boiled his tails, whole, then split them and finished on the grill, flesh-side up. Think they'd keep a bit more juice that way._____________

Cut the bottoms out. Pull meat up a little. Direct 350-400.
Meat down. Then flip. Douse with clarified garlic butter till nudt opaque. The butter sits and boils up in the shell and is a great finish. Beautiful tails!-FATC1TY

So this is what I did. Cooked the rib eyes, 600 direct 4 minutes each side. I pulled them off to sit, closed off the lower and upper vent and let the temp get down to 400. Previously I cut the inside membrane off the tails. Took scissors and made a cut down each side and then across the bottom. Put garlic and melted butter on each tail, sat them on the egg at 400 for 7 minutes and they were perfect!! Should have taken pictures but we were hungry!!

Two questions. One I am new to the big green egg, can you do a slow smoke on lobster tail and how long. Secondly depending on the size of the tails what temperature and how long.
Thank you. -
