First Sous Vide Rib attempt
Gave some baby back ribs with DP rub a sous vide bath for 24 hours at 147. Put on egg at 350 dome for 30 minutes flipped, sauced and another 30 minutes. Overall they were good and tender but seemed to lack a lot of flavor throughout. I also would have liked to see more of the fat rendered out. I am open for any suggestions as to improving those aspects for my next attempt. Anyone ever sauced them for the sous vide bath first? Thanks.

My SV ribs generally don't pick up as much *smoke* as standard ribs, but flavor isn't an issue, because they cook in the rub for such an extended period. Maybe Dizzy Dust is too mild, I don't know."I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike

At 147, you may want to consider extending the SV time to 48hrs to render more fat and further tenderize the ribs,
