Lazy but still wanted steak!!

i haven't fired up the gasser since July of 2016. Wanted a steak but didn't feel like waiting for the egg to get to temp. Had to remember how to light the thing!! Swmbo likes her steak ruined so I sliced off a thin peice and sprinkled a little Grunt Rub on em. 

Not used to this hot and fast thing but they came out pretty good. Qouting Hank Hill " taste the meat not the heat!!

    Looks fabulous.  I usually just put a cast iron pan on the stove.

    What I like most about cooking is there are so many variables....from the quality of the food, the handling, the prep, the cooking, the presentation....it's 3D chess.  I'm so obsessed I'm not spending as much time in my shop.  And expanding my waistline.
