guess I should have used center cut lump!  Rockwood plus a chunk of oak for fun. Absolutely wonderful flavor - lovely wife very happy!

    Nice job! Food looks great. What did you do for your potatoes and veggies? Light seasoning and evoo? They look good! (The steak of coarse always looks good ;)

    Thanks1985!  Potatoes:  toss in olive oil and kosher salt (or sea salt) and then roast for about 45 min to 1 hour (check doneness).  Prior to serving, mix with parmesan cheese and chopped fresh chives.  1lb potatoes (cut into chunks or buy fingerlings - we love the mixed red, purple, and traditional) with 3 TBS parmesan and 2 TBS chopped fresh chives.  Veggies just evoo, sea salt, and freshly ground pepper - roasted for 30 - 45 min (tomatoes added for last 20).  Simple and wonderful - especially with a hint of smoke.  The oak worked really well tonight, but I think I'll dial it back to pecan next time.
