    Bal was exposed tonight. He wasn't even the best guard on the floor. Kentucky's sub outplayed him. Defensive liability. Alford had to put him in the corner or UK would have scored 140 on that chump.

    Bag that...my Gamecocks win another.  We looked dead the last 3 weeks of the season and now we are playing D again.  Nothing better than March Madness.

     The SEC hired Mike Tranghese as a consultant to help all the "other" SEC teams build programs to be able to compete with Kentucky. Mike was instrumental in the building of the original Big East Conference, which really came to prominance in the early '80s. They achieved in short order a final four where they had 3 of the 4 teams. And multiple NCAA Championships as an upstart conference. Hiring Mike was a great move. My bet is the SEC will challenge for "best conference" for a long time going forward.
