I am excited today. We bought a large BGE on Saturday and it is being delivered and set up this evening. I have wanted one for a couple of years and finally got my wife to buy in. Our whole family is excited about supper this evening. I have been reading you guys posts for a couple of weeks and learning a lot and now I'll finally have something to talk about.

Welcome aboard. There may be some debate to this given improvement in gaskets, but recommend you don't go above 350 degrees on first cook or two. Practice your lighting and temp control. Tons of eggcellent advice on this forum. Use the search feature and immerse yourself.. And get ready to open your wallet.. accessories are in your future... Get a Thermopen as your first item.

Check out ceramic grill store I have the woo with extender and oval stone for indirect cooks and I love my setup. I have their pizza stone also which has worked great. happy shopping and cooking!

That was my experience with SRF @Rte1985, not happy at all when she found out what I'd spent until I served it again..."food drunk" is exactly right and too funny!
