In America the automobile-SUV, four wheel drive pickup or sports car- is a status symbol. Maybe a highway with automation to drive your car, but who on here owns a junk car for their daily driver?
The fantasy floats around but until Americans' love affair with the car ends, Americans will continue to own cars that define the owner.
