At the risk of loosing my man card.....are there any hot tea drinkers....

I am a serious java junkie. Wilma is a tea drinker, but she doesn't have a "go-to". I like Constant Comment. My Mom drank that and I like the orange zest in it.Flint, Michigan

@ColtsFan nailed a great tea with the jasmine dragon, teavana has lots of great teas though. I like their Raspberry Riot lemon Mate, black dragon pearl, golden monkey. My wife likes their blueberry bliss. Teavana is a great resource for many types of teas.
Another company I like is Davids Tea

Their Pumpkin Chai is super good and Chocolate Chili Chai.
I'm a fan of black teas with the odd Mate. You even mix some of them, blueberry bliss if really good mixed with a chai.

I drink a few cups of tea each day. Not a coffee drinker so tea is my caffeine source.
Over the years I've tried just about everything loose and bagged but the last few years I pretty much just drink a few varieties of mainstream Twinings.
Used to drink a lot of Celestial Seasonings stuff many many many years ago but not really a fan of herbal teas or flavored teas or "spiced" teas (with one exception - Constant Comment).
Lived in Japan for a few years and drank a bit of green tea. Enjoyed the ceremonial aspect of it but not really my thing.
A few years ago when my daughter would come home from college she would bring some stuff from a Teavana store near campus. Some interesting stuff but not really my thing.
My main drink is boring old Twinings Ceylon followed by either Irish or English Breakfast. Maybe one or three cups of Lapsang Souchong per month. Maybe one or three cups of Constant Comment per month.
Maybe once a year I'll spring for some fancy pu 'erh or something just to try something different.
If I want to make an actual pot of tea rather than just a cuppa for myself I like the loose Ceylon made by Dilma.
Tea has increased so much in popularity the past ten years that there are many tea shops to choose from and Amazon has a lot to choose from. Most of the tea I buy is via the subscription service with Amazon.
Good luck, there's a bewildering array of teas out there to select and try!

Timely thread, thanks. Tried to get into coffee, but it's a slow go. Maybe tea is the route for me. I'll give it a try and find out.Steve

Always drank tea but mostly coffee until medical issues changed that and now tea is my primary drink. I have been drinking Teavana teas for many years and their Earl Grey Black is my main tea, usually buy 2 - 4 lbs. at a time for the bulk discount. I would recommend one of the steepers and a Zojirushi boiler for a simple setup

You might want want to get a couple of steepers as some of the flavored / spiced teas will impart on other blends. Use one for spiced teas and another for black teas. I ended up with the Breville Perfet Touch brewer as my primary brew method. It is the closest approximation to having a automatic coffee maker as it will steep the tea and then remove the basket so you can set it on a timer and have your tea ready when you wake up and not have to worry about over brewing. Not cheap and very fragile but it is essentially my daily brewer.

I have that exact same water heater absolutely love it as both the wife and I drink different teas. I would say if you have a local store go there and try the teas. Only one my wife and I can agree on loving is black dragon pearls from teavana I drink at least 2 cups a day normally without honey but it is delicous with it. Also get a good strainer some like this
