Micro-Cracks Under Ceramic Coating On Lid

Gave my Egg a wipe down this weekend and when the dust was off I noticed the lid has micro cracks all over it.
It doesn't seem to be chipping any away and it's working fine.
Wasnt sure if this was a normal thing. I have an email in to warranty but it's 6:30pm in Atlanta so I figured I would throw it at the feet of the seasoned eggers
If it's purely a cosmetic issue I don't care. Honestly it's the first time the thing has been clean-ish.

Thank God. I did not want to fool with taking that off.
I Googled it like 5 different ways and nothing came up.

They all do it. They show up a lot easier on the glossy black primo.

Besides that crazing being not all that uncommon another malady which shows up on some eggs - one of mine included - are tiny pin head size holes in the glaze. Seeing the white ceramic showing through a new egg can be alarming to the unknowing, but soon dirt will fill in the holes and you'll never notice them again.Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time

Thanks @RRP if I hadn't been putting on that gasket I probably would have gone years without noticing it.
