I've not been a Sergio fan, but hey, the Cubs won, so why not.
    Love you bro!

I was one of the hundred people referenced that walked with Sergio when he shot 65 on Saturday in Greensboro back in '98.

Watched history yesterday evening as we stood on the left side of the 18th fairway and watched Sergio hit the winning putt. What a great tournament and happy that he won! Also got to talk to Aaron Rodgers near the 16th green as we discussed Kuch's hole in one. Not a bad Sunday!

I can't say I've ever been a fan of Sergio but I sure was rooting for him yesterday. What an incredible finish!

The three part series, "Jack" currently airing on the Golf Channel is a cool show esp for someone who didn't live thru or remember much of his career.

    He was quite dominant.

The number of 2nd place finishes is amazing in addition to the wins obviously.

It's almost as bad as shooting a 40 on your first nine of the tourney.

Difference was someone (Tiger) did that and won so that's been done. No one had ever ever made a 9 and won and it wasn't going to be Speith. As much as he wants to believe he's in same class and intimidates the field, (his words or caddie before the tournament), shows me he thinks he's in same class. I'm not buying it nor is the field. He also said the uneven lies contributed to his poor iron play but no comment on his miss again on 12 from a tee. He always has an excuse. But hey, he does have the same amount of majors as John Daly.
    Happy for Sergio.

You clearly don't care for him and that's fine. He's not on my short list of favorite players either, but he made a 9 and was still 2 shots out of the lead going into the final round. That is at least worth a small measure of respect for playing quite well for 53 out of 54 holes up to that point -- or perhaps it was an indictment of the rest of the field that he could give away that many shots and still remain in contention until the poor final round. I was also pulling for Sergio, but he has undeniably been one of the biggest excuse makers in the sport. I guess we all pick and choose what to focus on and/or ignore.

I met John Daly in his heyday. It was like shooting the breeze with a guy you've known your whole life. A really down to earth nice guy.

I believe the other is Justin Thomas.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.
