Another real favorite of mine which is quite popular here in IL is BoetJe's. It's a stone ground mustard that really rocks!

I don't remember if this is what it was called when I last had it, but the horseradish mustard by Silver Spring would melt your face off. Soooooo good.

whatever you call it it's undeniably good. Not too sophisticated, but delicious as a staple.

years ago when I was using Frenches on ribs and butts for the binder it provided for rubs my wife found a big sale on it and brought home a dozen bottles! In spite of the "best if used by date" has long passed I still have 1 open bottle in the frig and 3 in the pantry. It merely separates in time but is easily reconstituted with a vigorous one time shake!stv8r said:RRP said:

You have to shake the hell out of it every time so you don't end up with the dreaded juice.RRP said:

Welcome to the Swamp.....GO GATORS!!!! -
I have tried a couple from Braswells that were really good and they come in a nice little whiskey glass.

Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg. -
my favourite. Still comes in a ceramic jar, wax has been replaced by a plastic stopper, but still the best (when you can find it!)

Love This*^^** also give homemade mustard a go …. Mustard seed, salt, water and timeVisalia, Ca @lkapigian
-
what @lkapigian said!
65 grams brown mustard seeds
65 grams yellow mustard seeds
45 grams cider vinegar
210 grams water
6.5 grams salt
Mix everything at room temperature, let rest for a week (7 days) on the counter, enjoy!
You can smash a few teaspoons and mix with the rest.
Season with wine and you have homemade Meaux mustard!
