Has anyone tried Crowd Cow?

I think the way this works is they get commitments from individuals for cuts of meat, and then they buy the cow, process it, and ship it out.  Unfortunately they don't ship to me, but I signed up anyhow.  Has anyone tried it?

Don't ship to my location either.

I realized after I signed up that they are not and do not deliver to my area. Don't know why Omaha steaks and other companies can deliver and they can't.

Interesting idea, but somehow they don't ship to Kansas City. Surprised to see they don't have ship to a decently sized metro area. I'm not even out in the sticks.

I tried to make a purchase aannddd they don't ship to va beach either. Then they quit sending me weekly advertisement emails.
