I also "like" my challenger cart.  It looks good. The doors seal excellent against bugs and rain.  It moves easily on my patio. 

There are two things I don't like.  The extension tables are screwed into soft aluminum ... not that strong of a connection.  Of the two tables I've been around, both have loosened up. When my screws strip, then I'll add some stainless steel backing plates.  And, the powder coat finish must be the softest in the industry.  Seems dumb to have an expensive staging area on which you can't set a hot plate setter. 

They do offer SS tops now. I know that doesn't do you much good now, but others moving forward it's an option. They have quit offering the fold down shelves and have gone to a static extension shelf. I like the fold down because it reduces the stored footprint and allowed for the utilization of the stock table covers.

@pgprescott ... I too like the fold down extension.  It makes a smaller footprint for moving out of the way on the patio, like you mentioned.  And, it's an inexpensive (sic) way of gaining additional prep area.  But, the aluminum is simply too soft for the attachment method they used.  What's even more frustrating, from an engineering view point, is the folding bracket is a well thought out design ... go figure.

Tim will send me hate mail for sure ... sorry.  With the stainless steel top in the Arizona sun and no shelter, I would not need a Blackstone grill. Come August, I'll check out the top deck temp of my Challenger cart vs a stainless steel table in the sun.

We just placed an order for some new stock, but i think they are addressing the material attachment issues with an insert and bolt set up. Don't hold me to it, but I think that is what I remember from the show in Atlanta. Live and learn, I guess.

I don't want to hear any complaining about too much sunshine! LOL!
