Teriyaki Raging River Salmon and Rice

Last night I made some salmon. First time trying this method. Purchased a whole side of Salmon since Kroger had it at $6.99 /lb. I removed the skin, cut into two portions for me and the Mrs. I placed the fillets in a container and poured teriyaki over and let marinate for 30 mins in the fridge. After 30 mins, I removed the Salmon from the container, pat dry and applied Raging River. I cooked in a cast iron skillet, browned both sides, placed in a 350 degree egg for 5-6 mins until the reached 145 degrees. Got to say, pretty tasty. And I don't really care for Salmon, but the wife is on a health kick.

Yeah I made that last week. I really liked it too. But it was a I found the maple glaze tastes like pancake syrup with butter. Nothing wrong with that, just wanted something a little different this time.smbishop said:Looks like you nailed it! Dizzy Pig has a great Maple Syrup Salmon recipe...

Egret has posted a heckuva recipe for salmon that is phenomenal. Don't know if it is the same one that you had mentioned with maple syrup or not. My Beautiful Wife loves that cooked on the egg."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber
