Gotta get me some of those round ones. Takes about five pounds to fill up the prison trays.

Don't ever buy an egg from an eggfest after he and Caliking go nuclear with the curry. 3 years and it still smells. Whatever I saved was not nearly enough

Yes but it's preseasoned for beautiful Indian meals. Try the dal Makhani

@Little Steven Nice curries.  I did spiced aubergine and Bombay potatoes last night, but not on the Egg. Which recipe book do you use?

@The Cen-Tex Smoker He is probably like @caliking  and has a dedicated curry egg. :)

I tend to use ideas more than recipes. I like Sanjay Thumma and Sanjeev Kapoor. More often than not I'll have something in an Indian restaurant and pick the base flavours from there, I did that with the onion curry after having one in a local restaurant and looked at various versions on the web. I knew it had tamarind and looked for as suitable masala on various Indian sites. www.vegrecipesofindia.com/ is good as is www.indianfoodforever.com/.
You should try a dal recipe on the egg. The smokiness makes them more authentic than indoors.

I'll vouch for dal makhani on the egg. A friend cooks it overnight in her KJ and it's awesome.
