My new go to... Goat

being both allergic to dairy and having a lactose allergy, a friend told me about Goat Cheese a while back and I finally gave it a try the end of 2016. Let me tell you it makes most meals taste incredible;
love it in beef Tacos, pizza ( gotta try that) and still finding more incredible combos

Can't wait for my 2017 meals and all the new meals to give a try.

    Was expecting a mutton picture.
    So there's no lactose in goat milk?

    Are you sure that you're allergic to lactose? Allergens typically tend to be proteins. You could be lactose intolerant, which is a different matter.

    Nonetheless, goat cheese is wonderful stuff :) As is goat meat. We eat a fair bit of both.

    Mutton is actually sheep. In India,  goat is called mutton. Because that's what the Brits called it. Because they were used to eating lamb and sheep.

    I'll give you thumbs up on the goat cheese...it's our favorite.

    But I can't go with ya on goat meat. Too much time eating funky cuts and poor cooking with the Afghans morning, noon, and night.

    I cant even smell it anymore without getting sick to my stomach. I can't even do lamb anymore. (That's how the terrorists win)

    Goat cheese is great in omelets too. Not much that it isn't good in!

    My parents are from India. I have a cashmere coat I rarely wear, that relatives will admire. I tell them it's a mutton coat.
