Cambro vs. Yeti vs. RTIC

Wandering through my local restraunt supply I ran across Cambros. I have read they are the cats meow for hot food service.
For keeping briskets, shoulder, etc warm would a cambro work as good as a rotomold? Why would one choose one vs. The other? Prices were similiar amongst the group.

In regards to performance, not a clue.

My neighbor caters out of his igloos. But he is moving cold or dry goods and cooks on site generally.
When he does Crawfish Boils he uses his oldest coolers- one for hot, one for keeping the crawfish chilled

Just Vote- What if you could choose "none of the above" on an election ballot? Millions of Americans do just that, in effect, by not voting. The result in 2016: "Nobody" won more counties, more states, and more electoral votes than either candidate for president. -
Coolers are great if you are just tossing large BBQ meats in it to rest. However, the Cambros are better w trays ready to be served.
Example: An easy catering gig has you bringing pulled pork, mac n cheese and beans. Everything is in a ready to serve tray so you can pull up, drop off and roll out. Those foil 1/2 and full pans fit perfectly inside a plastic slide out pan.

As far as the performance difference between the Cambros and coolers, it would depend on the quality and type of each. There are some commercial SS oven type cambros that are electric assist. They can hold a steady temp 24 hours a day for years. That's not a typo above. They can hold whatever temp until the element or electronics fail (which is usually several years).
But in the interest of keeping the comparison apples to apples, a standard box type insulated Cambro will not hold heat any longer than a quality rotomolded cooler. As such, most of us use our Yetis and RTIC's for holding Q.
As BGC mentioned above, the cambros do offer the luxury of holding individual pans which can be very useful.Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.
Status- Standing by.
The greatest barrier against all wisdom, the stronghold against knowledge itself, is the single thought, in ones mind, that they already have it all figured out. -
Just so you know, some of the Cambros are rotomolded.Ozzie_Isaac said:...

In cooking, often we implement steps for which we have no explanations other than ‘that’s what everybody else does’ or ‘that’s what I have been told.’ Dare to think for yourself. -
A buddy has one for BBQ comps. It's foam filled just like rotomold coolers. Only difference is it has notches to slide pans in. Oh, and the door is not that thick.Aledo, Texas
