Big hockey fan here and should be a great game. Trouble is I am a season ticket holder for the Blue Jackets, so I will be watching to see if they can win 17 in a row. We've never had anything to hang our hats on so its kind of a big deal to us I do think this year's U.S. team has a better than even chance at winning for a change!

The Canadians will face the United States for gold on Thursday after beating Sweden 5-2 in the semifinal.

Gotta say i miss the rivalry with u guys. Were always fun chippy games. Although winnepeg seems to have filled the void a little.

Well now, after regulation the people are as good as the folks. Sudden victory for the first OT. Hope it does not go to a shoot out.

Sorry but it was a great game decided by a stupid Shootout.  Had we lost, I would have lamented the loss came a result of a Shootout.

As it is, I coached one of the boys and against several other boys on team USA and could not be happier for all of them.  

The Terry Shootout goal that decided the Russia Game showed a skill level players of this age would not have ever displayed some years ago.  He waited and then sauced the puck over the paddle but thought eh 5 hole.  Tonight, Parsons feigned a fierce poke check on the 4th SiLVER attempt that through that player off.  Just amazing creativity by both to win the games.

Yeah silver sucks. Especially when we have won soooo many gold. 16 in the tournament all time. Well gold is good for USGay seeing as this is only their 4th all time. Valiant effort. 

Gloat at while you can it doesn't happen for you very often.

Well its good u have all those golds because you losing is gonna keep happening more and more. The games growing quickly here in the us and all over really. Hell just from stl we had like 6 kids drafted in the 1st round last year. Canadas game? Not for much longer.

Well you have us in the way, and all the other countries in the tourney to worry about. It will be a long time before you win another 12 tourneys to match the 16 we already have. That also includes a 2 time, 5 year tournament run of gold medal wins in a row from 93-97 and 05-09 and 33 overall medals.

Im feeling very confident in our future in the WJC.
