Happy Nancy Review

Not sure how many forum users have tried DP happy Nancy but it is a hit here in my house.

My wife and young children aren't always happy with the rub I add to everything. I picked this up and it has been a huge hit!  Have gone straight up on chicken twice, one cut 50/50 with red eye on steaks and another 50/50 cut of raging river on pork.  They really like the new flavor and toned down spice.

I will buy more when this shaker is gone.

  • Should've gone with "Fancy" over Happy.  Missed opportunity there.

The idea is the less aggressive rub makes Nancy, Happy. It's specifically mellowed out for making the more sensitive pallet Happy

I was kidding.  I have two young daughters and they're both Fancy Nancy fans.

"toned-down" spice?  Couldn't you just sprinkle on less?   :|

I would think so, but it's clearly not aimed at consumers like me. If people like it and feel special because there is something targeted at just them, so be it.

Umm maybe? I think it has more to do with the make up of the rub tough. No pepper no chiles. I am happy with all other DP products and the amount I apply, some are just more bold than others as you know.
