Grilled some homemade merguez sausage, homemade sauerkraut, whole grain mustard, grilled red bell pepper, and cheap red wine. George Strait is on Pandora. Life is good my friends.

Thanks for looking my friends.

Whenever I used to get drawn into that vortex, (accompany SWMBO on the excursion, and it hasn't happened in a few years) I would find a watering hole and proceed to relax and enjoy myself. I believe that my current lack of participation is directly related to the enjoyment I was having in prior adventures. And the bar bill is much cheaper at home. FWIW-Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

Our wives need to go shopping together..

Sauerkraut it turns out is about as simple to make as falling off a log - it just requires time. I did buy a dedicated fermentation crock because I felt like I would use it enough - and - it was an excuse to get some kitchen stuff.RRP said:Looks delicious! This is the crock I use: https://www.amazon.com/Humble-House-SAUERKROCK-Traditional-Fermentation/dp/B01I8HT5IY/ref=sr_1_8?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1482290602&sr=1-8&keywords=fermentation+crock
Here is a good recipe. They are all the same. You just need shredded cabbage, salt, cool temps, and time.

I was going to guess "the things" but you're much more productive. Well done.

Had to read title twice. Thought it said "swapping". You made great use of the time!
