OT: still my favorite Christmas tree ornament - what's yours? :OT

Today we finally decorated our tree. This small glass ornament was one I had made years ago to memorialize our entry year into eggdom.
Re-gasketing America one yard at a time.

Very cool. I had thought you had an egg before 2000. My first egg was not a BGE. I had a beautiful red egg flecked with black. Sadly the finish was only painted on and the ceramic was more clay like. The finish soon burned off and the egg cracked. This was back in 1994. My first real BGE was somewhere around 1997. It's still on the deck.

I know you tried to find us a source to make these for other eggers, but no luck. While my seemingly annual post p*ssed off our Canadian friend we do have a turnover here and maybe some day a new egghead will show up who is into melted glass crafts. My wife collects ornaments from every new country/Caribbean island/etc. we visit. It's pretty funny looking at a bunch of xmas tree ornaments with sand/seashells/etc. on them.Northern Virginia
