What a great personality.  Brought a lot and was a big part of the game.  RIP.

I was in Atlanta, back in the 90's lived in Lawrenceville for a few years. I met some friends at a place downtown, if I remember correctly, called Jocks and Jill's. We were there warming up for a Braves game. They had a bus they used to take patrons to the game, and the driver of the bus, who was also part owner was Craig Sager. Cool guy, and funny as heck. He had an old, beat up, stuffed duck, that, through the years, had lost his head.
As he drove to the game he would toss it towards the back of the bus and yell "Duck!" That thing got tossed around on the trip there and back, with everyone screaming "Duck" before launching that low velocity, medium range projectile. If you got hit with that thing, you would always duck when you heard the call from that point on.
The man lived life, and had a blast doing what he loved.

I saw the ESPN 60 story about Sager and some tears came to my eyes.  While my first diagnosis wasn't even 1/100 of his ordeal it makes we always want to fight and remain vigilant. His attitude about a diversity is something that all people should strive for!
