slovelad said:@Eggdicted_Dawgfan you nailed it. I don't have a website, although I get asked all the time if I do. I am reluctant to do so because then it turns into a job, and I really want this to stay a hobby lol I just always under price things and then say to myself "crap, I should've charged more"
@Tspud1 that's an awesome idea. I'm definetly going to take your advice on that one! The slide out basket is a great idea
Good luck on tables and if you need any advice, message me.

@slovelad it's a nice looking build, and feel it's worth the $400. The egg dealers near me all sell an unfinished pine table in that price range, and they seem to move.XL BGE, KJ classic, Joe Jr, UDS x2

Pretty much finished with this one. If you look at the top, you will see the word "cowboys" - the guy I'm building it for is a huge Dallas cowboys fan.
the finishing touch with be the cowboys star logo cut out of stainless on top of the table to use as a hot plate -

Late to the thread, but I think $400 is a very fair price for this. I've just had my deck re-done and I'm looking around to upgrade my table to something with a cabinet before I drag it back up there and I can't find anything close to that around here.

Man I thought someone bumped this thread to troll the Cowboys... I guess I'll have to do it.
Tim Tebow has more playoff wins than Dak. -
I would totally buy that for $400 if you were in San Diego.San Diego, CA

Here is the finished product btw

Most locals around here won't pay a lot for wood tables. They prefer metal, and I just built this one for my neighbor's new XL. Charged him $250.

Yes it's a pre-formed Formica countertop that I get at the local lumber yard. They sell the freight damaged ones for $5 each, and I cut them in 2 pcs, then use biscuits to join them together for a wider surface. A granite slab would cost me about $300+ at the local shop.
