we just had our family thanksgiving today. I tried a cheap spiral ham on the egg. Just smoked it a while to warm it then made up a glaze. Came out pretty good.

That looks like my kind of ham. If you don't mind me asking, what was the glaze?-----------------------------------------analyze adapt overcome2008 -Large BGE. 2013- Small BGE and 2015 - Mini. Henderson, Ky.

Well, i threw a buncha stuff together. The ham had a little pack of powder to make a glaze. I mixed that with a little apple brandy. Then some pork rub and balsamic vinegar. Then dumped a little maple syrup in for good measure. Well it didnt taste quite good enough so I grabbed a jar of some jalapeno peach jelly I canned. Reduced all that down and went to painting it on there. Came out great.

That's a good looking ham!!
I made a boneless and a bone in ham smoked with apple at 250 for about 4 hours. Glazed with pineapple and brown sugar mixed like syrup. Both were already smoked. Might have been a little too much apple smoke, but people raved about it and ate it up.

I'm headed to the store to pick up the overpurchased turkeys the store has on sale. I may grab one of these and try it. Looks great.
