Agreed. I took it out of the library, it was a solid book. The most interesting material I had already found on his website.  I know most of the science and technical details.  I have been considering the purchase for a while, this put me over the edge. 

I have also heard kenji is a good guy. 

Kenji had great work. Just comes off as an uppity ass hole. 

Check out the buxton hall BBQ book if you dig deep southern BBQ and recipes. 

Please explain what you mean by uppity. I wouldn't want to misunderstand you.
